Join us for our next Intergenerational Jazz Power Jam at National Jazz Museum in Harlem on Sunday, April 23, 2-4 PM.

In April, Jazz Power Initiative is proud to present Intergenerational Jazz Power Jam: Voices & Rhythm featuring Dr. E (Eli Yamin), Zah! Ensemble and Jazz Power with special guests Annette A. Aguilar, percussion, Michael Blake, saxophone and flute, Rubens de La Corte, guitar, Jennifer Vincent, bass and Harlem Samba (4/20 only), a Brazilian percussion ensemble modeled after the samba school baterias of the Rio de Janeiro carnival. Voices & Rhythm celebrates the African diaspora through rhythms rooted in swing and samba featuring songs by Jon Hendricks, Count Basie, Duke Ellington and various Brazilian composers.
